World of warcraft wireless headset software download

Swivel boom, anyone? Pros: Sound Quality is good, they're comfortable, and the colors and voice mods are fun to play with. Cons: -Randomly disconnects, and then reconnects seconds later -If the USB gets blown on, touched, etc The cons just make these way to much of a hassle, and really make me want to throw the entire headset across the room almost everyday of the week Pros: For the the first few weeks, I was in love with them.

They sounded great, were relatively comfortable, customizable colors for the lights was pretty fun. Cons: At least once an hour, they'd drop their wireless signal and re-establish it again after a couple seconds.

Not a huge deal, but it was pretty annoying. Battery life isn't great, I'd estimate I'd get about hours total before having to plug them back in to charge. The usb plug was also loose, so it was difficult to use them plugged in without the cable falling out. The biggest con is the're made out of extremely cheap plastic. There's a very thin piece of plastic used as the extension, and it snapped in the right side after about a month.

I glued it and would only use the left side to extend to fit over my head. About three months later, the left side snapped as well rendering them pretty much unusable now. Other Thoughts: If they had used metal instead of plastic in the headband, and had a better usb connection, these would be a nice set of headphones.

Comments: The headset for music and sounds are perfect. Decent battery that almost lives an entire day if you charge it each night. For this it gets two eggs, but since they manufactured it with such low quality materials I cannot advise anyone to purchase this.

The actual Open Box product may differ in packaging and included accessories, but has been tested to ensure basic functionality. Through the Newegg EggXpert Review Program, Newegg invites its best reviewers, known as EggXperts, to post opinions about new and pre-release products to help their fellow customers make informed buying decisions. Nevertheless, voices are transmitted with an impressive clarity that your guild members will undoubtedly appreciate. The headset doesn't come packaged with any software -- instead you'll be asked to download the Audio Control Panel program from the Creative Web site.

Pleasingly, the software is styled to resemble the World of Warcraft in-game menus, and lets you tinker with an impressive range of features, including an equaliser and a key-bindings menu, so you can perform tasks such as switching on the bass boost or muting the microphone using your keyboard.

One feature we particularly like is the VoiceFX voice modifier, which alters your voice to sound like those of various World of Warcraft character types, from female gnomes to Mal'Ganis. Technically, it's a cheap trick, but it will undoubtedly impress other players, and it does make for a more immersive experience.

Our only complaint in the software department is that setting the headset up is far from simple, and you'll be pestered to register the product, allow scheduled update checks and perform a mandatory restart before you're able to actually access the Audio Control Panel program. It's a minor gripe, but it means that set-up is a lengthy affair, ruling out using the headset's best features during a quick blast on a friend's PC, for example.

We also found the wireless range to be rather disappointing. If you're hoping to keep up the chat while you pop to the kitchen for a mid-raid snack, you might find the signal degrades and dies before you've even left the room. Conclusion Creative's Sound Blaster World of Warcraft Wireless Headset does a reasonable job overall, performing adequately as regards sound quality, microphone clarity and software design.

But an astonishingly high asking price makes this piece of kit very difficult to wholeheartedly recommend. Just browse our organized database and find a driver that fits your needs. Si tiene cualquier pregunta sobre este driver, puede contactarnos mediante el formulario de contacto.

I think I goofed, I am hoping my fellow smarter than me geeks and nerds can help me out! I just bought a set of Sound blaster World of Warcraft wireless headphones, by Creative. The problem? I was told they work with windows 8. I can get them to play sound if I watch stuff on the internet, and sometimes I can hear my guildies in vent other times I can not. Sometimes they can hear me and mostly they can not. Sometimes when I use the ptt button it locks it open and the only way to close it when it does that is to disconnect from vent.

Also, I am having problems with the headset staying connected to the transmitter dongle. Sometimes it will stay connected for an hour and at other times it will connect and dc ever few seconds or moments.

I have done the re-pairing of the set several times, this works for a moment or so and then it is hit or miss.. I have been told by my room mate that it is because I don't have a current driver for windows 8, the device is having cycling issues. I don't know if this is right or not.

I really can't afford to just go buy a different set, I had to save for this set and they are not returnable. They are really nice, I love the way they fit, and sound so far. Love the features that I bought them for even though I can't use those features. Because I can't get a current driver for them, I can't open or even have a sound control panel for them, which is where the light features and voice features are.

Basically, does anyone know a work around or know of a driver from like a 3rd party that will make these function-able?
